DRG-AI: DRG coding in seconds, with sources you can check.
For Slovak hospitals we built an assistant that reads the discharge summary and proposes the DRG group, diagnoses and procedures — every code linked to the exact page of the official catalogue it came from.

What does Fox Apps do?
Fox Apps is a software company based in Slovakia focused on hospital and healthcare software. We design and build clinical tools and AI assistants such as DRG-AI, as well as custom web applications and iOS and Android apps — from UX/UI design through development, launch and ongoing maintenance.
Do you build software for hospitals?
Yes — it is our main focus. Our own product, DRG-AI, helps Slovak hospitals with DRG coding, and we build custom tools for clinical and administrative teams. Hospital software can run on-premise or in a private cloud, and AI features can be restricted to EU-based providers.
How much does custom software development cost?
It depends on scope. After a short discovery phase we give you a fixed estimate for the first release and a plan for what comes next. Tell us about your project and we will come back with a realistic range.
How long does it take to build an app?
A focused first version is usually a matter of weeks to a few months, not years. We ship in one-to-two-week iterations, so you see working software early and can adjust priorities as you learn.
Do you also do design only, or development only?
Yes. We can take on UX/UI design, a prototype or a design system on its own, join an existing codebase, or do both design and development end to end.
Which technologies do you use?
Mostly TypeScript with React, Next.js and Angular on the front end; Node.js, Bun and Rust on the back end; PostgreSQL; Capacitor for iOS and Android; and LLM APIs with retrieval (RAG) for AI features. We choose what fits your team and long-term maintenance.
What is DRG-AI?
DRG-AI is our AI assistant for DRG coding in Slovak hospitals. It reads the discharge summary and proposes the DRG group, diagnoses and procedures, each linked to the page of the official catalogue it is based on. The final coding decision stays with the hospital coder.
